Exhaustive description of the training


  1. Progress towards autonomy in your practice of mountaineering, in snow, glacier and rock races

EDUCATIONAL GOALS (they contribute to the achievement of training objectives)

  1. Fundamentals of safety in glacial terrain: roping techniques and progression. Management of a crevasse rescue.
  2. Fundamentals   of safety in rocky terrain: roping-in techniques, belaying, and  progression in motion._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136_bad58d second.
  3. Installation of protections (pitons, corners, ice screws), construction of a relay.


D1In  cliff, first meeting and review of elementary security.   Climbing over several pitches and revision of the basic manipulations   (installation of the belay, belaying a second, abseiling).   Ascent to the refuge in the evening.

J2Glacial course or ridges. Night in refuge.

D3Glacial course or ridges. Night in refuge.

Learning the techniques specific to the terrain on which we evolve.

D4Rock run

Every day, learning   maneuvers specific to the terrain on which we operate, with   supervision of the guide, one or two independent ropes. Regular stops   to think about and learn as a group what to do and the   techniques to implement in the face of a typical situation.

The program is   likely to change depending on the weather, current conditions,   your desires and your level. Anyway, we will always find   races to help you progress!
