Programme détaillé

From Chamonix, we take the Aiguille du Midi cable car in   early morning (8am-9am).

Upon arrival at the top of the   mechanical lifts, we start the day with a visit to the Aiguille du  Midi (3842m), to enjoy the view, admire this construction in  high mountain and allow time to get used to the effects of  l'altitude. Before being able to put on the skis, we start with the   descent on foot from the snow ridge, possibly requiring the   crampons. The skis are carried on the bag.

This first technical   and vertiginous passage, above the north face overlooking Chamonix, we   allow us to reach a shoulder 100m lower, where we put on the _cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_skis. From there, depending on the route chosen (vallée blanche  classique, Grand Envers), the descent on skis takes 3-4 hours, with a break   possible halfway -path to the Requin refuge for the picnic  (not included).

Depending on the snow cover, it is possible to   go down to Chamonix. Otherwise, you have to go up the stairs   to the Montenvers train. In both cases, an ascent wearing   skis is necessary, due to glacial retreat...

Variant:   We can also decide to make this descent from the slope  Italien by joining Courmayeur by bus, then climbing to the top of the _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_ Helbronner cable car (3425m). The wait at the lifts is less  long, the route is less busy and even wilder,   requiring a little more ease. This variant also allows you to have a   view of the Italian side and the beautiful Aosta Valley. The end of the  descente is common with the previous route.
