Programme détaillé

Day 1: Planpraz – Lac Blanc refuge

After a climb via the Planpraz gondola, we   start right away with the grandiose with the famous trail of the  balcon sud, and its breathtaking view of the Mont massif -White. He   takes us to the famous Lac Blanc where we spend the night in the eponymous   refuge.

Duration: 5h

Elevation: 800m D+ / 440m D-

Distance: 8.5km

Day 2: Lac Blanc refuge – Pierre à Bérard refuge

For this second stage, we go off-trail at   the discovery of the Chéserys lakes before reaching the col des  Montets. We then go up the magnificent Bérard valley and its  cascade to spend the night in the picturesque Pierre refuge at  Bérard.

Duration: 6-7h

Elevation: 630m D+ / 1070m D-

Distance: 11.5km

Day 3: Pierre à Bérard refuge – Col d'Anterne refuge

This third day is the highlight of the stay:   we leave early in the morning for the ascent of Buet which rises to 3096m.   From up there, the breathtaking panorama embraces the entire  Mont-Blanc massif as well as Chablais and Aravis. The day is not   yet over and we then have to reach the Col  d'Anterne refuge via the bucolic valley of Villy.

Elevation: 1480m D+ / 1400m D-

Distance: 13km

Day 4: Col d'Anterne hut – Le Brevent

To end this tour, we descend to the bottom of the  vallon de la Diosaz to fill up with freshness before starting the long but aesthetic   climb to Brevent for a sublime finale. The   return to Chamonix is done by cable car but for the most motivated,   the descent on foot is quite possible!
